Some of us take years after years to figure out our aim or purpose in life. But it is not the same case for WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. Morgan was pretty clear about her purpose in life ever since she saw WWE for the first time during her childhood.
Ahead of her SummerSlam match against Ronda Rousey, in an interview with Ariel Helwani, Liv Morgan opened up about her problems while growing up and how WWE played a key role in determining her purpose in life.
The WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion mentioned her struggles in growing up in a very violent and chaotic environment. And she noted that the moment she saw WWE, she got her purpose in life.

She said, “I guess growing up and being in my environment, I understood really soon, like, this isn’t what I want in my life. So when I saw WWE for the first time, I fell in love, and I was like, this is it.”
“I’m not some hero, but I just always knew that’s what I was going to do. That was my purpose. It was like, I’m going to save my family. I’m going to break this cycle of drugs, abuse, and police at my house almost every single night,” Liv Morgan added. (H/T: WrestlingNews.Co)
Given her current status and past story, Morgan has indeed brought a major change to her life. She has made a name for herself in this pro wrestling business. At one point, Rousey looked like an unstoppable force in WWE. But her undefeated streak ultimately ended at WrestleMania 35 when Becky Lynch defeated her and Charlotte Flair in a Triple Threat match.
Former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair also defeated Ronda Rousey at this year’s WrestleMania. However, Rousey got her revenge at WrestleMania Backlash. She defeated Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

But at WWE Money in the Bank 2022, Liv Morgan cashed in her Money in the Bank contract to defeat Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. And at WWE SummerSlam 2022, Morgan once again ended on the winning side against the former UFC superstar.
