That said, the trajectory again went in Rhodes’ disfavor with a chunk of fans already turning on him for not living up to their expectations. However, silencing all the backlashes, Rhodes scored an impressive win against AJ Styles at LDLC arena, Lyon, France Saturday night.

Throughout this journey full of fickleness, his family sees it all and always has something to convey publicly to demonstrate their unconditional love and support. That being said, the latest eulogy by Teil Rhodes (Cody Rhodes’ sister) came as a direct shot to the Final Boss.

Rhodes’ sister subtly called out The Rock on Twitter

Cody Rhodes and Dwayne Johnson‘s pre-WrestleMania antics have been a major draw for the company, leading to a visible growth in viewership numbers. The bloody episodes of Rhodes getting hurt and abused by The Rock’s hellish gimmick blew fans off. Ultimately, the constant promo wars culminated in a tag team fight where the Brahma Bull and his cousin Roman Reigns took out the unified force of Rhodes and Seth Rollins. With this, The Rock dropped off the rivalry right there and appeared in his usual sober self on the next episode of Raw. The duo had a temporary settlement of their heat.

But it seems the Rhodes family, including his sister, Teil Rhodes, didn’t forget the jibes Johnson took at them. Seemingly debunking The Rock’s recent claim of saving the business, the Dusty-daughter tweeted, ”I mean Vegas is the spot where my brothers saved pro wrestling so it’s a special town for me.”
