“They Probably Made That…..With Spare Title Parts”: Despite His Incredible Accomplishment as Champion, WWE Universe Preferred Seth Rollins’ Title Over Roman Reigns

Last month, the undisputed WWE Universal champion Roman Reigns crossed 1000 days of his title reign. He has been standing tall among other superstars on the rosters for more than three years now. Every opponent who tried to dethrone him has faced defeat. And the ‘Tribal Chief’ is still rigid at this place. 

However, despite being the champion for more than 1000 days, the world heavyweight champion Seth Rollins, who won the title just a week ago has defeated him, without even stepping inside the ring.

Last week on SmackDown, the WWE chief content officer Triple H introduced the new undisputed WWE universal title to the fans. The title was specially designed for Roman Reigns who crossed the mark of 1000 days. However, it didn’t fit well with most of the fans as they didn’t like the new design.  

Recently, a poll on the new WWE championship belts has been going on the internet. WWE on BT Sport asked the fans which title designs out of the two new belts did they like the most.

And more than half of the fans chose Seth Rollins’ world heavyweight championship over Roman Reigns’ new undisputed WWE universal title. 

According to most fans, it seems like WWE put extra time and effort into designing the world heavyweight title. And for the Universal championship, the belt design didn’t do justice to the Universal championship.

Fans came online and started to share the different reasons for choosing Seth Rollins’ title over Roman Reigns. Following are some of the top fan opinions:

Roman Reigns won the Universal championship in August 2020. Last year, at WrestleMania 38, he defeated Brock Lesnar and won the heavyweight title as well. Since then, the fans expected WWE to merge both titles. And when it actually happened, fans didn’t like it much as the new design is quite similar to the old one.
