Triple H Already Breaks Another WWE Record Even Before Survivor Series WarGames Starts

Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque has time and time again proven his mettle as the Chief Content Officer of WWE. The respected authority of the promotion has put in efforts similar to that of Vince McMahon to make every episode and Premium Live Event a blockbuster. After his various contributions, he has yet again broken another record set by the promotion. The ticket sales of the upcoming Survivor Series acts as proof of his work.

Triple H breaks another record

As per the reports by WrestleTix, the upcoming Survivor Series has had record-breaking ticket sales for the arena. The current setup for the event consists of more than 17,218 seats. Out of these, 17,157 tickets have been sold out. The remainder of the 61 seats have been selling faster than expected. The original seating capacity of the event was announced to be around 15,000.

Later on, some changes were made to increase the seats to 16,860 seats. However, due to an increased demand, the seats have crossed the 17,000 mark. This is a record-breaking sale at the Survivor Series venue, the All-State arena as it has a previous history with the Stamford-based promotion. The 2006 WrestleMania 22 was held in the same arena.

The total attendance for the event was approximately 17,000. Even though the record is broken by a small margin, the seating capacity might be increased considering the current demand.

In the last few weeks following Crown Jewel, audiences have been quite invested in the current storytelling. With Levesque being at the helm of creative decisions, fans have seen a build-up that has left them anticipating more from the promotion.

The road to Survivor Series

As for now, there have been five matches confirmed at Survivor Series. The most anticipated of these is the Men’s WarGames match. Following his defeat at Crown Jewel, Drew McIntyre joined hands with The Judgment Day. Now acting as the fifth member of the men’s squad, Cody Rhodes and his team were left in a flurry. The team lacked one member and the General Manager of Raw, Adam Pearce stated that they needed to have a fifth member in order to compete at the WarGames. Luckily for The American Nightmare, an old friend of Rhodes picked up his call.

The final member of his team is said to be The Viper, Randy Orton. Fans will get to see Orton back in action almost after a year. He was out of action due to a supposed back injury.

Apart from this, a Women’s WarGames match between Bianca Belair and her team and Damage CTRL is also scheduled. The heel faction has been troubling Belair and her teammates to look for the final piece to fit her team. In an unexpected twist, Becky Lynch joined Belair’s side making her the final member of her team.

Along with these two matches, Carlito will confront Santos Escobar for his actions against Rey Mysterio. A lot of questions will be asked by Carlito and Escobar will have to answer them. For me pro wrestling has two things that I like the most, storytelling and fighting. Let’s just say movies are failing to keep me entertained in those departments. I grew up watching WWF and not WWE and any hardcore fan will agree that the two are not the same, but I love both iterations.
