Triple H’s Secret Prediction Revealed That No One Believed But Came True

Paul Levesque ‘Triple H’ has been in the pro wrestling business for a long time. ‘The Game’ has a keen understanding of the profession as well as the wrestling talents. Former WWE writer Freddie Prinze Jr. recently admitted that Triple H was even right in his assessment of former WWE Champion CM Punk’s ‘hypocrisy’.

CM Punk held the WWE Championship for 434 days from 2011 to 2013. However, during this time, by John Cena largely overshadowed him. While Punk was the champion, Cena headlined more pay per views than him.

This, along with other booking related frustrations, led to the ‘Second City Saint’ walking out of the WWE in 2014.

Freddie Prinze Jr. admits Triple H was right

Former WWE creative writer and actor Freddie Prinze Jr. recently spoke on his ‘Wrestling with Freddie’ podcast about the reports of Punk being difficult backstage at AEW and issues with his perceived ego within the company.

He admitted Triple H was right in his assessment of CM Punk in his WWE days. The former WWE writer also recalled that he had disagreed with the ‘King of Kings’ over this.

He said on his “Wrestling With Freddie” podcast, Punk hated John Cena, not ‘hated’ him, but hated what he represented, right, and that’s that what the company was behind. “And I remember one time Hunter saying, ‘As different as they are, the reason he hates John Cena so much is because he knows if he was in that same spot he would act in the exact same way.’

Moreover, Prinze added, “To hear the rumblings of AEW basically saying he’s acting the way John Cena did back then it’s just like, damn near everything I disagreed with Hunter on, he was right. He just knows.”

There have been various reports about the former AEW champion also going off-script to bury Adam ‘Hangman’ Page in one of his recent promos.

CM Punk lost his AEW World Championship to Jon Moxley on the latest episode of Dynamite. Though the ‘Best in the World’ is still expected to headline the All Out pay-per-view on September 4.

‘The Game’ is leading WWE in a fresh direction

Since Triple H took over as the Head of Creative following Vince McMahon’s retirement, WWE has received a fresh impetus in its product.

Fans have appreciated the positive changes the ‘Cerebral Assassin’ has brought to the company. Heart felt promos, giving mid-card titles a chance to shine are some of the changes that have made WWE shows highly watchable.
