The upcoming match for the World Heavyweight title at Crown Jewel has been under intense scrutiny from the fans. Without a doubt, the match has everything to keep the fans enthralled. Even the main event of the previous PLE Fastlane that featured Seth Rollins was an epic from the fans’ perspective.

Interestingly, the World Champion walked out victorious in an incredibly close match against Shinsuke Nakamura. But this time the challenge will be different against The Scottish Warrior. Many believe that Drew McIntyre will eventually stand tall and hold a major title for the third time in his career. And if the odds are good for that, how can this be made possible? Let’s find out.

In the past few weeks, fans have witnessed a noticeable change in McIntyre. In addition to having to deal with babyfaces like Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston, McIntyre was also dissatisfied with Cody Rhodes for bringing Jey Uso to Raw. That certainly hinted at a change in character for McIntyre after a very long time.

A few days ago, a video posted by him on TikTok also suggested something dark was going to happen in the future. He added an old clip that featured him on the social media platform. In the video, he was spotted working out with his previous theme song, Broken Dreams, playing in the background. If you don’t know, this was the theme he used when he had a heel persona.

With that being posted, fans and experts alike believe that a character change for the Scot is on the horizon. This could possibly happen at Crown Jewel, where he would catch the champion by surprise due to his heel tactics. It might be a hidden surprise kept by WWE to shock the entire WWE universe watching that fight. Thus, McIntyre could win the match because of a heel turn.

It is time for Drew McIntyre to shine in front of the fans

Everyone knows that Drew McIntyre has been a two-time WWE champion in his career. His hard work paid off when the Stamford-based promotion considered him the guy to beat Brock Lesnar and win the title at WrestleMania. However, McIntyre has never won a title in front of a live audience.

The first time that he won the title was at WrestleMania 36, which happened in the performance center due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The second time that The Scottish Warrior held the championship was when he outclassed legend Randy Orton on RAW. Well, that very episode of the red brand also took place in the absence of an audience and was held inside the Superdome.

Keeping that in mind, McIntyre might put his nose to the grindstone to get that victory on the cards. He would want to witness a title reign in front of the fans. Thus, there might be chances that McIntyre could raise the bar against Rollins and win the World Heavyweight title for the very first time in his career.
