One thing that everyone wants to see from the overly popular Bloodline story is to see Dwayne Johnson step into the ring with his family. Having such a big name endorse his brethren in WWE would go a long way in solidifying its members’ wrestling careers.

A big marquee match between Johnson and the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns would be box office for WWE. However, this moment may still have to wait but fans did see The Rock acknowledge The Bloodline publicly with his recent post.

As UFC 293 comes closer, Dwayne Johnson posted a video of Justin Tafa, a Samoan fighter, sharing a life lesson from his grandfather. This touched the heart of The Rock and he acknowledged it and praised fighters embracing their culture in UFC. Just as a side note,  Johnson also included at the end of the post that he’s proud of the ones in WWE as well.

In the Instagram post, The Rock wrote, “Very cool to see all my USOs representing our Samoan/Polynesian culture in the UFC – and of course representing in @WWE as well.” This was of course a nod to the job done by Roman Reigns and his Bloodline stable in WWE, where they have dominated the scene for over a year now.

While The Rock left the ring way back, because of people like Reigns and Jey Uso, the Samoan dynasty is still able to continue to thrive in WWE. Being the face of action movies and Hollywood, there’s no one who particularly asks Johnson about The Bloodline in interviews. But Triple H and Reigns have been asked multiple times about the possibility of seeing Johnson in the ring.

At this age and established persona, Johnson might be one of the few legends who might not want to wrestle ever again. But fans still want to see Johnson interact with Reigns one time during his history-making title run. But you might be wondering, why are fans still holding on to the hope of seeing The Rock with Reigns, even after The Tribal Chief has already gone two years without any hint of Johnson?

Why are fans still hoping to see The Rock in The Bloodline?

One of the biggest reasons for Johnson’s return is the current situation. With the SAG-AFTRA and WGA strikes, Johnson is exempt from his Hollywood filming responsibilities and this opens up a lot of dates in his schedule.
