Week After Dwayne Johnson’s Magnificent Return, John Cena Promises Another “Can’t-Miss” SmackDown

Dwayne Johnson’s return to SmackDown last week just raised the bar of expectation for every WWE fan. Fans are speculating multiple things to happen on SmackDown in addition to a possible return of another legend. That is in addition to the already existing list of matches that have already been announced. And who better to invite the fans to the show than The Champ himself, John Cena?

Before SmackDown kicked off from the Desert Diamond Arena, Glendale, Arizona, Cena expressed to the fans that he wanted to compete in the ring tonight.

John Cena’s return to the WWE was marred by Jimmy Uso who rebuked him right on the first night. He not only told him that fans didn’t come to see Cena but also tried attacking him from the back. But Cena put him in place with an Attitude Adjustment.

Then come next week on The Grayson Waller Effect on which Cena was a guest. Jimmy Uso once again popped up to throw some shade on John Cena. Only this time his brother Solo Sikoa was by his side. Earlier it seemed like Sikoa going to attack Jimmy Uso but The Enforcer hit Cena with a Samoan Spike.

Luckily AJ Styles came to John Cena’s rescue which got fans speculating that John Cena and AJ Styles will team up to take on Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. And it seems like fans are going to be getting exactly that as SmackDown started with John Cena challenging The Bloodline.

John Cena also took to Twitter to promise fans that tonight’s SmackDown is going to be even better. He tweeted, “The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena…” Get ready for another can’t-miss #Smackdown TONIGHT on @WWEonFOX! @WWE.”

But fans are also excited for the other fun matches that are lined up for the night.

Iyo Sky defends her WWE Women’s Championship against Asuka

In addition to Cena challenging Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa, fans are excited to watch Asuka face Iyo Sky for the WWE Women’s Championship. Asuka lost the title at SummerSlam to Bianca Belair who within just a few minutes of winning it lost it to Iyo Sky who cashed in her MITB.

Excited fans are also eager to witness Rey Mysterio and Santos Escobar take revenge from The Street Profits for last week’s disrespect.
