WWE fans are still coming to terms with the news of their favorite stars being released as part of the budget cuts. With as many as 20 wrestlers released from WWE’s roster, there are speculations on what they’ll be getting up to in the future. Especially as the majority of those released were either starting or at the height of their careers, meaning that they had no intention of stopping. As fans are eagerly waiting for the next move of these stars, one ousted wrestler has already made his plans clear to them.

Going by the looks of it, the fans are supportive of his decision after getting laid off.

Mustafa Ali joined the WWE in 2016. He made his main roster debut on SmackDown in December 2018. Post that, he had multiple feuds with biggies like Randy Orton, Seth Rollins, Drew McIntyre, and The Miz to name a few. His last WWE PLE match was at Night Of Champions for the Intercontinental Championship against ‘Ring General’ Gunther in Saudi Arabia.

In spite of putting on a great fight coupled with his signature high-risk moves, Gunther got the better of him that night retaining his championship title. Post his defeat, Ali started appearing on NXT and competed in matches there. He failed to win the NXT North American Championship in a triple-threat match between him, Wes Lee, and Dominik Mysterio.

Ali was also scheduled to face ‘Dirty’ Dom in a title match at NXT No Mercy but was released just 9 days prior to the PLE. Trick Williams was announced as his replacement for the title match and Ali agreed that Williams definitely deserved an opportunity.

But Ali is using this opportunity to pursue other avenues in the world of wrestling, like a possible world tour. Ali took to Twitter to give his fans a glimpse of his future plan of wrestling around the world. Looking all dapper in a black blazer and tie, Ali tweeted, “MUSTAFA ALI x WORLD TOUR. bookMustafaAli@gmail.com”.

Thus Mustafa Ali is not yet giving up on his dreams of wrestling and fans are really happy with his decision. But just like Ali, another WWE legend is also planning on a world tour.
