A lot of fans and WWE itself wanted to see Dwayne Johnson make his return to the squared circle this year at WrestleMania. But that looks less likely with each passing day. The Rock’s uncertain status forced WWE to make strict changes to the annual event. Although most probably all the changes were saved under ‘Plan B’, the reported ‘Plan A’ will surely hurt the fans to their core.

Being a top Hollywood and having an overloaded schedule means DJ was always going to be a doubt for WrestleMania this year. Moreover, the recent reboot of XFL and Johnson’s involvement in the league means the chances of an in-ring return are slim.
