Taylor Fritz is having a great season this year. The American star is all set to climb the career-high ranking of World No.4 after his win over Alexander Zverev in ATP Finals semifinal. He has now set up a rematch of the US Open final, as he prepares to face Jannik Sinner in the summit clash today. However, before the match, Fritz’s girlfriend Morgan Riddle shared a quirky post to congratulate the American star on his big win in the semifinal.

Fritz got the better of Zverev in a thrilling three-setter semifinal in Turin. While Fritz was basking in the moment during his on-court, post-match interview, Riddle took an opportunity to share a snippet of the same to congratulate him. In her Instagram stories, she posted Fritz’s words without any caption or reaction, certainly a unique way to highlight something and keep fans thinking.

In the snippet posted by Riddle on her account, Fritz can be heard saying, “At the end, the balls were…just huge!” Well, did Fritz take a leaf out of Daniil Medvedev’s book? Only he could clarify what he was talking about, but it did seem like he was talking about the quality of balls. Something that Daniil Medvedev pointed out as well, in the initial stages of the tournament.

While a lot of players have been complaining about the quality of the tennis balls of late, Riddle probably saw the lighter side of things when Fritz talked about it in his post-match interview.

Riddle has been having a great time in Turin, as she is enjoying the ATP Finals to the fullest. However, she also got captured in the camera lens in a unique position during the tournament.

It’s not uncommon for people to yawn on many occasions. However, it certainly becomes the talk of the town when someone as famous as Morgan Riddle is captured on camera yawning. During the round-robin stage, in the match between Medvedev and Taylor Fritz, Riddle was captured, yawning in the middle of the clash. The clip went viral. It became a social media highlight, but Riddle wouldn’t mind as Fritz won the match eventually.

Riddle had been looking forward to this event in Turin ever since Fritz qualified. After Fritz’s qualification for the ATP Finals was confirmed, she beamed with pride as she posted, “Heading back to Turin 🥹🩷” on her Instagram account. The influencer has been in Italy for the whole duration of the tournament, supporting her beau.

It will be interesting to watch how Fritz fares out against Sinner now. It’s a rematch of the US Open final and Fritz will be looking for revenge. Everyone is on the edge of their seats, waiting for this potentially terrific match. Hopefully, it’s more competitive than the US Open final which turned out very one-sided in favor of Sinner.
