Bodybuilding icon, who starred alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger, in the famed 1977 documentary, Pumping Iron, recently visited the capital of Germany, Berlin. Lou Ferrigno was mesmerized upon reaching the Great Berlin Wall, a symbol of the country’s Cold War segregation. He even penned down a brief note of appreciation for the trip to the heritage site and the city’s historical significance. 

The monument stands till today, compelling the nation to remember the drastic turn of events that separated a single land into two. Hence, owing to its rich historical significance, the athlete felt grateful to have caught a glimpse of it in reality, per his Instagram post. 

Lou Ferrigno visits Deutschland

As per the source that was shared only a day ago, the 71-year-old toured the Berlin Wall. Moreover, he also added a snippet of him standing in front of the 62-year-old landmark. Ferringo’s caption hinted at the joy he felt upon visiting the site. Besides, he could be heard saying in the video, “I’m at the great Berline wall that was taken down over 30 years ago…Phenomenal. Great piece of history. Wow.”
