It’s been more than a minute since we saw Caleb Plant enter the ring. While his next stint in the ring remains shrouded, pictures have emerged of the fighter spending some quality time with his wife at the trackside of the recent F1 race. On the 19th of November, a classic race took its course at the Las Vegas Street Circuit. Given the iconic setting of the Las Vegas GP, celebrities from across the country descended at the venue. Also present at the event were Plant and his wife, Jordan Plant.

Plant was last seen in the ring in March this year. In a bid to grab the interim WBC super middleweight belt, he took his fight against David Benavidez. However, the Las Vegas fight was not in his favor, and he lost through a unanimous decision. Months later, while fans await his return to the ring, they got a glimpse of him at the recent F1 GP.

Caleb Plant eyes the super middleweight champion

Former world super middleweight champion Caleb Plant is aiming for a mega showdown. He remains fixated on facing none other than the reigning WBC world middleweight champion, Jermall Charlo. Despite his previous defeat in March against David Benavidez, who is now on track for a clash with Saul “Canelo” Alvarez, Plant is determined to avoid easier opponents. He has expressed a clear desire to confront Charlo on The DAZN Boxing Show.

“I feel I’m so locked in on that and that’s what I want,” affirmed Plant. He further highlighted his single-minded pursuit of a potential bout with Charlo. Even if it means engaging in a tune-up fight to stay active, Plant is resolute. He says, “If that’s what it takes, I’m all for that, and then put me back in for a big fight.” Meanwhile, Jermall Charlo will enter the ring after a long sabbatical of about two years. On the 25th of November, he will fight against Jose Benavidez Jr.

However, the brewing rivalry between Plant and Charlo intensified in September. It culminated in a heated altercation between the two. The incident has only fueled Plant’s determination to secure significant fights. Despite setbacks, Plant’s fervor to step into the ring against top-tier opponents, including a potential face-off with Canelo Alvarez, remains steadfast, showcasing his unwavering commitment to the sport’s highest levels.
