Ahead of the August 5th fight with Jake Paul, former UFC champion Nate Diaz joked about him choking out Logan Paul‘s lookalike Rodney Peterson. Recently, Diaz choked out a TikToker named Rodney Peterson who strongly resembled Logan Paul. As per Peterson’s later statements, although he failed to comprehend what he exactly did to infuriate Diaz, he admitted heckling Diaz by stating how he would knock the same out in a fight.

However, according to Peterson, Diaz caught him “off guard“. In addition, he even wondered if Diaz thought he was choking out the actual Logan Paul. Anyway, at the pre-fight press conference with Jake Paul, as ‘The Problem Child’ alluded to the mentioned incident, Nate Diaz jokingly sent Logan Paul a message.

At the press conference, Jake Paul asked Nate Diaz if he thought it was actually Logan Paul on the street. Before Jake Paul could finish his line, Diaz sarcastically replied by saying, “You’re gonna act like that wasn’t Logan? Come on, man! It is Logan, what are you talking about?” In addition, looking forward to justifying his actions, Nate Diaz even explained why he went for a choke instead of hitting Rodney Peterson on the street.

According to Diaz, hitting people is dangerous. Hence, he preferred choking Peterson out on the street. “Don’t just hit people. That’s dangerous, you know what I’m saying? Give them a little nap,” he added by saying. Along these lines, Diaz also said, “Shout out to Logan.” Anyway, reportedly, Logan Paul is now willing to offer financial aid to Peterson in his potential lawsuit against Nate Diaz. Recently, former UFC champion Michael Bisping also reacted to the news. While he did not intend to defend Nate Diaz, he also emphasized why ‘The Maverick’ need not step in.
