In one of the much-anticipated bouts of the year, Dillon Danis will be fighting Logan Paul on the 14th of October. As the press conference ahead of the matchup inches closer, the two have indulged in a war of words that has rather turned ugly. Dillon Danis has led the way in this crusade of words that has evidently hit Paul below the belt. While trash talk has been a part and parcel of competition, the provocations got a bit too personal. But here we are today.

Some would say that the MMA fighter-turned-boxer has crossed the line to provoke his opponent. From calling Logan Paul’s fiancée Nina Agdal a transgender person to even indicating that the Paul brothers are fake with each other, Danis is leaving no stone unturned. However, as he spewed a vicious flurry of digs at the relationship between Paul and his fianceé, the latter seems to find no escape from her name being dragged into the messy world of boxing trash-talking. But now, a prominent name in the boxing realm has called out Danis on his remarks.

Sam Jones is one of those forces in the sport of boxing whose words have always been respected and taken seriously. The promoter holds a knack to drive the sport in a direction that gives way to up-and-coming boxers. He is a name that is not so unheard of in the industry. Jones commented on the ongoing beef between ‘The Maverick’ and ‘El Jefe’. He called out the latter for his non-stop remarks aimed at Nina Agdal.

The promoter responded to one of the posts by Danis in which the fighter is taking another dig at Agdal. In the last few days, he has taken to posting pictures of her with men she has apparently been romantically associated with.

Now, Jones has called such digs boring. He further hoped that Paul would take down Danis in their upcoming matchup.

Logan’s response? Getting jacked to fight El Jefe

In the backdrop of the fight and the remarks coming his way from the other side, the influencer-turned-fighter, Logan Paul is concentrating on pushing his body to the limits in preparation for the big fight. It seems as though the fighter is dead set on clapping back at his opponent’s comments with a resounding performance inside the ring. As a testimony to his unwavering dedication to the fight, he posted a picture of his ripped and lean physique on his X profile. He said, “Excited to start training camp.”

But even this was met with some salty remarks from Danis. The fighter responded to the post by saying, “It makes sense why you turned down Olympic-style drug testing. You juice head, all that muscle mass – you’ll gas in that ring.”

The two even enter into a heated exchange of words in the press conference to lay the premise for their big fight in October.
