Shakur Stevenson has currently hit a rough patch in his endeavor to stand at the top of the Lightweight division. His fight against Devin Haney is at an impasse and even Vasyl Lomachenko is out of the picture, it seems that he may not find any opponent for a while. Furthermore, earlier this year, he had also been targeted by Gervonta Davis during his appearance on Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast.

However, even his personal troubles do not stop him from showing love to his fellow boxers. Marquis Taylor recently came out victorious against Yoelvis Gomez in their Atlantic City bout. Congratulating Taylor on his victory, Stevenson encouraged the Texan boxer to get back to grinding.
