On August 5, Jake Paul fought and defeated Nate Diaz in Dallas, Texas. After his victory, his older brother, Logan Paul was seen standing on the sidelines of the ring. Thereafter, many fans speculated that Paul appeared to be, “disappointed,” with the outcome. These speculations escalated further after, ‘The Problem Child,’ was featured on, ‘Impaulsive,’ podcast alongside his brother and Mike Majlak.

During the episode, the two Paul brothers made their respective cases regarding who is the better boxer. In addition, ‘The Maverick’ made an allegation that the 26-year-old is intentionally fighting his potential opponents to prevent him from getting inside the ring. Their back-and-forth led to a narrative that there is tension between them. However, in a recent interview, the 28-year-old addressed the debacle and revealed the reason behind appearing disappointed.

Logan Paul shuts down the speculations about being “disappointed,” with Jake Paul’s recent victory

Paul was featured on the ‘Flagrant,’ podcast. His appearance comes after the viral press conference between him and Dillion Danis. However, apart from their discussion about his next fight and the lead-up to it, Paul was asked about his relationship with his younger brother. Moreover, toward the end of the episode, Paul addresses the rumor of appearing to be not happy after the 26-year-old’s win. He unveiled that on fight night, he was wrestling as part of the WWE card and was tired from the event and traveling afterward.

He stated, “Guess what I did that night at the Jake’s fight? I wrestled in front of 50,000 f*cking people. I was exhausted. I was in pain. I drove a plane, three hours across the country to show up to the fight.”

Paul’s recent comments cleared up the speculations about his “disappointed” outlook following the outcome of the Jake-Diaz bout.. However, Jake Paul himself confronted Paul about being “condescending,” and “jealous.”

Jake Paul on his “jealous” brother

The 26-year-old on his own podcast, B.S. W/ Jake Paul, reflected on his older brother. He asserted that despite wishing well for ‘The Maverick,’ the 28-year-old is envious of him and the same is evident. He stated, “Clearly, he has envy and jealousy towards me, and that’s what I told him off camera. He’s like, [no], no, no, but like everyone sees it… I want him to accomplish all goals; it’s him undermining me and being condescending towards me.”
