Mike Tyson’s namesake Tyson Fury is all set to enter the ring against debutante boxer, Francis Ngannou on the 28th of October. Most would imagine that the former heavyweight boxer would side with Fury who was named after him, but Mike Tyson has some contrasting plans. He had earlier announced that he is joining Ngannou’s clan to train him for his upcoming matchup.

It is a crucial fight for him given that it is his big entry into the world of pro-boxing. His stint with the UFC took a downturn after his relationship with the organization’s president, Dana White deteriorated. The UFC does not allow its fighters to explore outside of the sport easily. Hence, concluding his tenure with the UFC, Francis Ngannou decided to enter the realm of boxing. And his opponent? One of the greatest boxers of this age is Tyson Fury. His trainer? One of the greatest boxers ever, Mike Tyson. A better debut couldn’t have aligned for him.
