Retired boxer Kell Brook ran into a scuffle with Conor Benn at the ringside of Katie Taylor vs. Chantelle Cameron. Following the incident, Benn called Brook old and advised him to “stay retired“. According to Benn, Brook was making a “death wish” intending to square off against ‘The Destroyer’ in boxing. However, Benn assured that he would fight Brook if the 37-year-old desired it.

In his interview with IFL TV, the former welterweight champion explained what actually happened in Dublin. Additionally, the retired British boxer spoke about potentially coming out of his retirement to fight Benn. In the same vein, he called Benn a “little boy” and claimed he would put the same “straight to sleep“. According to Brook, Benn “couldn’t put his fist through an A4 piece of paper.” Hence, he declared, “I will hurt you.

As per Brook’s statements, Benn deliberately bumped into him to get reactions. Although he is currently retired, Brook announced that if Benn could get cleared, they would probably make the fight happen. He believes that “people got juices flowing for the fight” between Benn and him. Likewise, looking straight into the camera, Brook said, “ I will put you straight to sleep, little boy. That’s what will happen.” He assured the fans that he would hurt Benn.

I’m having an interview and he bumped into me. He wanted to get a reaction and he got reactions,” Brook declared explaining the situation. On being asked whether he was interested to fight him, he said, “We can do it wherever he wants to do it. He’s got a bigger fish to fry. He’s banned. If he can get cleared and be able to fight, of course, we could make that fight happen. I think people got juices flowing for that fight with me and him.

Simultaneously, Brook questioned Benn’s resume in boxing. “He’s been put down by a journeyman. He’s not boxed no-one.
