REPORTS: Oscar De La Hoya Plans to Leave DAZN for Triller With His Whole Stable

Boxer turned promoter, Oscar De La Hoya seems ready to take a bigger step for his entire stable shortly. After partnering with DAZN for a brief period, De La Hoya is looking to explore the business. Hence, he appears eager to seal a deal with the broadcasting platform Triller.

The former multi-weight World Champion has worked closely with Triller in their latest event in Jake Paul vs Ben Askren.

Moreover, he announced his comeback fight for Triller and appears to have built a good relationship with the broadcasting platform.

Hence, he has aimed to bolster their relationship, offering Triller the opportunity to host all Golden Boy fighters, including Felix Alvarado and Ryan Garcia. While the contract with DAZN still stands good, De La Hoya has opted for a change.

Athletic reporter Mike Coppinger revealed the news via social media, sending several fans into a frenzy. The journalist wrote, “He (Ryan Garcia) is exploring a deal with Triller that would see the entire Golden Boy stable, led by Ryan Garcia, leave DAZN. Deal with DAZN expires end of year. All the details.”

De La Hoya and DAZN have staged several lucrative events together, inclusive of Canelo Alvarez’s fights. Meanwhile, Alvarez is no longer under De La Hoya’s stable. Thus, it seems to have put a dent in the stellar roster that used to house the P4P king.

However, Triller entered the business with a bang. They have hosted a few iconic fights and with Golden Boy Promotions on board, and it can only better. Triller has mostly involved itself in exhibition fights, like Mike Tyson’s return, and Jake Paul vs Ben Askren.

But as they are set to host Teofimo Lopez’s first unified title defense against George Kambosos Jr, they might be looking for a change.
