Tommy Fury Shares His Plan to “Get Rid Of” YouTube Boxing in 12 Months

Tommy Fury and Jake Paul had a highly anticipated bout earlier this year in Diriyah Arena, Diriyah, Saudi Arabia. Despite all the trash-talk that went in, the fight went all the way to the 8 rounds. Tommy won the fight via split decision. Paul is now preparing for his bout against UFC veteran Nate Diaz, which will be taking place this August 5. Meanwhile, Fury may end up facing Paul’s long-time rival KSI next.

The fight is apparently very close to being made and KSI has already started training. Even John Fury has shared that he thinks that the fight will be “announced very shortly.” It seems that Tommy Fury’s focus is not just the fight, but he also plans to bring down YouTube boxing as a whole.

Tommy Fury’s mission to dismantle YouTube boxing comes to light

‘TNT’ recently did an interview with iFL TV and gave fans some insight regarding his view of his next potential bout against YouTube boxer KSI. The interviewer asked him if KSI is an easier fight than Jake Paul. Tommy replied, “You’ll see, you’ll see for yourself.” Fury plans on keeping his “lips shut” as wants to face them in the ring and probably doesn’t want to discourage one of them with his words.

He then claimed, “My plan is to get rid of YouTube boxing inside 12 months.” Fury then shared that he heard that Paul wants his rematch next February. His strategy involves securing a rematch with Jake Paul in February, precisely one year after his initial victory over him. By triumphing over Paul for the second time, Tommy believes it would mark a significant milestone toward achieving his ultimate goal.

However, Tommy’s sight is not solely set on Jake Paul. He also mentioned his intention to face off against KSI as part of his mission to dismantle YouTube boxing. By defeating KSI in the midst of his plan, Tommy believes he will have accomplished his objective.

Viddal Riley calls Fury a “side quest”

Recently in an interview with SkySports Boxing, Viddal Riley claimed that Fury is merely a “side quest” in his pursuit of becoming an English champion. Riley stated that his main mission is winning “English Titles”. However, about Fury, he said, “He’s like a nice lucrative side quest that I don’t believe will happen.” He stated that he will be willing to “pick up the cash” if the fight can be made.
