“What Type of P*ssy…” George Kambosos Jr Fires Back at Shakur Stevenson After His “Terrible for Boxing” Remarks

George Kambosos Jr. versus Vasily Lomachenko seems to be finally taking its course. The two were on the verge of getting their matchup in 2022, but the latter pulled out owing to the Russian invasion of his homeland, Ukraine. His promoter then hinted at him not signing any matches for the entirety of the year for the same reasons. However, Loma did secure a fight against Jamaine Ortiz, which he won through a unanimous decision. Next in his sight was the unrequited fight against George Kambosos.

Kambosos took to X to announce that his fight against Loma is now on the road yet again. The details of the matchup are yet to be announced, but it is now clear that the fight will be going ahead. Amidst these exciting developments, there is someone who looks a little hostile toward Kambosos.

A brawl of words between George Kambos0s and Shakur

‘Ferocious The Emperor’ Kambosos confirmed the news of his fight against Loma. But’ Sugar’ Stevenson looked seemingly upset. He ridiculed the matchup. This undercurrent hostility seems to stem from Sugar withdrawing his interest to fight the Emperor. Earlier, when the latter was to fight Maxi Hughes, Sugar sat by the ring to observe the prowess his potential opponent brought to the ring.

That night George Kambosos won the bout against his opponent in a majority decision victory. But at the same time, he lost his next opponent. Sugar was of the opinion that Hughes did well enough to have secured victory, undermining the emperor’s win. Further, he also made it clear that Kambosos was not an opponent of the same league. He said, “With all due respect to dude, he not on my level.” He further stated, “I want the top dogs. He a pup.”

Now, as both fighters made peace with the bout not taking the course, Kambosos took shots at Sugar as the latter was being funny about Kambosos’ Loma fight. Ferocious said, “hey cuz I hear Tanks available though huh.”

Stevenson was not one to keep quiet. Calling the upcoming fight between Ferocious and Loma bad for the sport of boxing, he said, “What type of p*ssy offer up another fighter to somebody you in the same weight class as? and n*gga anybody could get it I’m available also for any and EVERYBODY.. Look how soft y’all n*ggas are y’all are terrible for boxing” Well, it was not a surprise that two boxers from the same weight class will fight each other. But yes, Sugar has a valid point here.

Kambosos had the final bullet to fire in this battle of words. He claimed that Stevenson had earlier declined the offers made by his team for a matchup. He said, “what type of p*ssy just keeps talking shit but won’t accept any offers.” However, it would be a sight to behold if both Shakur Stevenson and George Kambos0s were to ever fight each other. It would break the internet if the fighters took the battle of the words to the actual ring.
