Come Friday night, and Francis Ngannou will give his best shot to prove that his dazzling performance against Tyson Fury was no fluke. He will fight Anthony Joshua at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on March 8. Last October, he knocked down Fury in the third round. But as it turned out, eventually, he made the heavyweight boxing champion squeak through his boxing debut.

So would he be able to turn the table on a former unified champion? The boxing world is seemingly weighing up a possible upset. However, for a boxing debutant to reach such a level where he is getting the opportunity to participate in back-to-back big fights, Tyson Fury reportedly believes that he deserves credit. But what about Francis Ngannou? Is he in agreement with ‘The Gypsy King’s belief?

IFL TV‘s Andrew McCart checked with ‘The Predator’ to see whether he came across Tyson Fury’s comments. “I don’t know if you saw Tyson Fury’s comments this week where he said that Francis Ngannou should bow down to him because he made you; he’s brought you into this boxing world, and he’s made you the fighter you are in this boxing game. I just want to get your response to that.

On ‘The Stomping Ground,’ Tyson Fury shared his thoughts on Francis Ngannou and the upcoming fight. He said, “…I’ve put him on the map, made him a multi-millionaire, and now I’m making him even more money, so he needs to thank me; he need to get on his knees and kiss my feet, don’t he, for what I’ve done for him.

Now getting back to Andrew McCart and IFL TV. Francis Ngannou said that Fury must have thought early on that he would be an easy game. However, as it happened, the Mancunian found himself at the wrong end of the stick. Hence, the only thing he could resort to now was to fall back on excuses.

Uh, I don’t know. I think uh he came around thought that he would he would have be a easy fight, easy money grab and go, and then he was surprised, and now he’s trying to make himself a little bit of a um excuse,” said the Cameroonian-French fighter.

Incidentally, Joshua-Ngannou has now become a high-stakes battle. Reportedly, the winner might get a chance to face the winner of the undisputed battle between Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk. So if luck has it, then Ngannou could once again meet Fury. If he wins, then he will create history by becoming an undisputed champion in a mere three fights!
