British heavyweight Daniel Dubois is a bundle of talent mixed with dedication. He has been a world title contender and has fought against Oleksandr Usyk. Dubois’ moment came in the fifth round against Usyk. A low midsection punch had dropped the Champion on the ground. Eventually, however, in the ninth round, Dubois hit the canvas after a strong jab from Usyk. Dubois’ promoter and one of his biggest supporters, Frank Warren, felt that Dubois had let a big opportunity slip through by not composing himself.
On December 23rd, ‘The Dynamite’ gets another chance at fame. On ‘The Day of Reckoning’, Dubois fights against the undefeated Jarrell Miller. This fight comes as an important opportunity for Dubois to prove that he, indeed, is worthy of being a world contender. The winner of this match-up will go on to have fights against the big names later. Frank Warren showed support for Dubois in an interview. Let us know what he said.

He’s got to show that he’s got desire and heart.” Warren is putting his belief in his fighter and says that he knows Dubois has got it in him to win. The fight between the two is as intense in the ring as it is outside. Between Dubois and Miller, the latter is definitely more vocal of the two. In the press conference, Big Baby Miller has been consistently mocking him, belittling him, and pushing him.
Miller said, “I am going to cook this shrimp. This two-time quitter!” This is a reference to Dubois’ last match against Usyk. The loss marked Dubois’ second loss by stoppage. His first loss came at the hands of Joe Joyce. Miller has not shied away from reminding the fighter of the dents in his record. Dubois has occasionally fought back. However, his opponent’s ability to be vocally irreverent is something he still has to master.
