According to the NBA Insider, the Celtics can make a move as they have some draft capital remaining with them. But, he clarified that “with their current and upcoming payroll it’s probably not something they’re focused on.” However, they have been linked to players like Alec Burk, Kelly Olynyk, and Delon Wright, and would benefit tremendously through their contributions. Burk is currently in a declining team, the Detriot Pistons and even his contract is expiring. Olynyk was a Celtics player for the first four seasons of his NBA career. This offensive powerhouse could strengthen the attack of the Celtics even further and when he was asked about the Celtics trade rumors, the player very diplomatically said, “I’ve heard it, whatever happens, happens.” Finally, Delon Wright is an all-rounder who has impressive playmaking skills as well as defensively very strong. Currently, he is playing for the Wizards, and as the D.C. is rebuilding their team, Boston might be able to acquire Wright for a steal. However, these are all hypothetical scenarios with confirmation only coming when the Celtics officially approach any of their trade targets.
As of now, they are comfortably winning and are even on the verge of creating a new franchise record.

The Beantown can break their 70-year-old home win record
After the dominating 126-97 win against the Jazz, the Boston Celtics are capable of shattering their 70-year-old franchise record. As of now, they are unbeaten at their home and have an amazing 17-0 record this season. This performance takes us back to the 1957-58 Celtics when they were 17-0 at home for the first time. Back then, the team had merely won just one title, in 1957.
However, after 67 years and 16 titles, the 2023-24 Celtics are on the verge of making basketball history. Only five other NBA teams have won 17 straight home games to start a season in the previous 28 years. With their next home matchup being against the Minnesota Timberwolves, the Celtics have an opportunity to write their names in the history books by showing their dominance in the T.D. Garden.
