Phoenix Suns Line-Up: Who Will Replace Devin Booker and Bradley Beal Tonight vs Jazz?
Follow Us
The Phoenix Suns are going into their third game of the season with a 1-1 record. Though they have a super team on paper, two of their top talents aren’t available. Kevin Durant will be the lone soldier against an upbeat Utah Jazz who would be fancying their chances against the Suns. But Frank Vogel is a master of schemes and he will not make it easy for the Jazz.
With one loss against the Lakers, can the Suns take care of the business against the Jazz with their depleted roster? And is this indicative of the trajectory that this Phoenix team is on?

Eric Gordon, Grayson Allen, Josh Okogie, Kevin Durant, and Jusuf Nurkic are the starting five for the Phoenix Suns. They have the right mix of shooting to go with scoring on the paint. But do they have enough to go against the Lauri Markannen led Jazz team that trounced the Clippers recently?

Devin Booker is ruled out of the Jazz game due to a foot injury. He has played in the season opener against the Golden State Warriors and had scored 32 points to go along with six rebounds and eight assists. Last season, Booker only played 53 games, but had an incredible average of 27.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists per contest while shooting 49.4% from the field.

The New Sun, Bradley Beal, played only 50 games last season, and just like Booker, had a fantastic shooting percentage, which was over 50%. And he is yet to make the Suns debut because of lower back tightness.

What about the Jazz?
The Utah Jazz is building around Jordan Clarkson and Lauri Markannen, and they have added John Collins to the mix. They are not a contender by any stretch of the imagination, but they are definitely inching closer to being one. In their post-Donovan Mitchell–Rudy Gobert era, the Jazz is being cold and calculative, which is a Danny Ainge trait. They have collected enough draft picks with their trades. Thus, they could make a huge splash to get a superstar who would push them over the hump.
