Kobe Bryant’s Wife Celebrates Halloween With Former Lakers Teammate and Agent
The basketball world is a supportive and wholesome place in general. However, never has that been more apparent with the love the Bryant family receives. Despite Kobe Bryant passing away well before his time, the entire family remains constantly on the minds of fans. Further, that support and well-wishing extends to Kobe’s former associates as well. Whether in the front office or through teammates, the Los Angeles Lakers family is right there with the Bryants.
As a result, it wasn’t completely out of the blue to see Vanessa Bryant celebrating Halloween with two prominent Lakers personalities.

Even though he might be on the receiving end of criticism from the Lakers faithful these days, current GM Rob Pelinka first came into contact with the organization through The Black Mamba. Working as his agent at the time, the two would develop a close friendship. That ultimately made way for Pelinka’s rank in the current LA front office.
Similarly, Pau Gasol and Bean were brothers by every definition except blood. Since his passing away, Gasol has done everything in his power to keep the Kobe name alive. Simultaneously, he also shares a close bond with Vanessa and the kids. That proximity and love were on full display as pictures of the trio, along with their families, came online.

Celebrating Halloween, the entire cast had some pretty unique outfits. While the women’s side of things took on a Catwoman’s inspiration, the two men were more than happy to play seekers. While Rob went for an FBI outfit, Gasol was quite hilarious with his fit.

Sporting a “Pretend I’m a bat” t-shirt, the Batman reference was instant. But it was the simplistically creative touch that made it a particular fan favorite. Kobe Bryant’s ascension
While he had been a major name in basketball for quite a while, Kobe had his fair share of detractors. Perhaps a product of the talent and level he was at, Bryant had doubters aplenty, especially around the 2007 mark. Since Shaquille O’Neal‘s forceful departure, courtesy of the 5-time Champion no less, the team hadn’t fared well.
As a result, The Mamba’s playoff exploits were in question. In such a scenario, it was a trade with the Memphis Grizzlies and the 2008 NBA MVP sticking around that led to a reversal of fortunes. As this trio came to work together, they would lead La La Land to 3 straight Finals trips, and back-to-back Championships in ’09 and 2010.
