Animal Crossing: New Horizons finds out the game has a set lifespan of 38 more years

According to a member on the Animal Crossing subreddit, you won’t be able to play New Horizons after a certain date. They found out that the game will send a notification instructing to restart after selecting a date between 2000 and 2060.

Although you’ll be able to visit your island for another 38 years, Nintendo has announced that free new content for Animal Crossing: New Horizons will no longer be available, as indicated during the Animal Crossing Direct last October. The Roost café, Kapp’n boat trips, Harv’s Island, and other new elements have been added to the game. However, Nintendo claims that this is the game’s “final free significant content update.”

Wedding Season (June 1-30)

June is wedding season, and there are plenty of wedding-themed events throughout the month. Reese and Cyrus, the event’s hosts, may be located on Harv’s Island through the airport. They must perform their jobs in order to earn heart crystals, which can be used to purchase goods. Players in both the northern and southern hemispheres are affected by this event.

Dragon Boat Festival (June 5-21)

The Dragon Boat Festival is a Chinese festival that takes place around this time of year. Unfortunately, there are no plans to honor the date in New Horizons, but it is not completely ignored. At Nook Shopping, you may get a Festival Zongzi for 1,000 Bells. It’s yummy, plus smashing rocks and uprooting trees earns you 5 energy points.

Bug Off (June 25)

Flick is sponsoring the Bug-Off event for northern hemisphere players on this day. By collecting bugs during ACNH’s Bug-Off event, participants may win prizes and Bells.
