Moreover, both games allow customizing in-game houses. Although ACNH brought this feature with a 2.0 update, Hokko Life had it since the beginning.

Hokko Life allows players to build their furniture that ACNH still doesn’t offer. So a Hokko Life player can build a bed when needed. Further, the exploration in New Horizons gets boring after a point because of easy access to all locations. But a player needs to progress in Hokko Life to access new areas which keep the thrill of exploration alive.
