Imagine a sniffer dog stopping Red Bull F1 to return to their garage! After six consecutive wins this season, the Austrian outfit is leagues ahead of their competition. Further, the Canadian GP proved to be an exciting event, with Max Verstappen and Carlos Sainz involved in a battle like none other.

While ultimately Verstappen came out on top, the Spaniard was equally good. Red Bull’s pace advantage did not allow Sainz to overtake. But he did put in a tremendous effort setting purple sectors lap after lap. The Dutch Lion, however, is so seasoned now that the pressure did not get to him as he finally lifted the trophy.

A new video that is making the rounds shows Ted Kravitz reporting about a sniffer dog incident. Apparently, the sniffer dog and a policeman on patrol barred the Red Bull camp to enter their garage after the podium. After this, Kravitz admitted, “Strange time for the Canadian police to come around with sniffer dogs looking for..whatever sniffer dogs look for.”

In the video, we can see Kravitz also blaming the Red Bull cans for the check-in. While they have revealed no other reason for the patrolling, the cans guzzled with sugar and caffeine might make sense.

Overall, the team had a tremendous day despite Sergio Perez‘s mechanical DNF. They were strong from the start, with Verstappen taking pole, and were mostly quick throughout the weekend.

Red Bull might easily win the Constructors this season

Verstappen now sits 49 points ahead of Charles Leclerc. This is the lead that once Leclerc had managed to get with his domination in the initial stages of the competition. However, the tables have turned, as Red Bull won consecutively to mark themselves as the ultimate threat. The team after initial DNFs has not looked back since Imola.

Further, Ferrari has been very prone to mistakes. Leclerc was not even a challenge to the Red Bull camp after a complete power unit change that brought him a 10-place grid penalty.
