Carlos Sainz is one of the most underrated drivers in Formula One. The Spaniard does not get the recognition and appreciation he deserves for his performances. Since 2019, he has been one of the most consistent drivers on the grid but has gone under the radar year after year.
In 2021, he surprised everyone with his performance in his first year at Ferrari. He beat his teammate Charles Leclerc in the drivers’ standings and had more podiums than him in the season.
