Lewis Hamilton is having a tough season, as he continues to struggle with the 2022 challenger. However, things got harder for the Silver Arrow driver when Red Bull’s Max Verstappen lapped him during the race.

But the real misery for Hamilton came around Lap 41 when he was shown the blue flag for the race leader, Verstappen. It was heart-breaking for the seven-time world champion. Because he was competing against the Red Bull driver last season for the 2021 title. This goes on to show that, at the moment, Lewis is nowhere near Max for the 2022 championship title.

After the disappointing race day in Imola, the media asked the seven-time world champion about Max Verstappen lapping him. So, Hamilton replied, “Yah, it shows how wrong we got it.”

Toto Wolff apologized to Lewis Hamilton after the disastrous Imola GP
