The former Ferrari driver, who was Schumacher’s teammate 1996 to 1999, believes that there is no side to choose in this debate; he thinks the German might be equal to Senna.

I think Michael Schumacher is at least Senna’s equal: Eddie Irvine
As reported by Motorsport Magazine, Irvine was reflecting on the events of the 1993 Japanese Grand Prix when he had a run-in with Senna on track. He had a few words about the incident and the Brazilian legend’s behavior after the race.
“I think the guy’s got a serious problem, he thinks he’s God’s gift to the racing driver. It’s a game of marbles, but wants to keep all the marbles,” said Irvine.
