Recently, seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton found himself caught in a muddle. He had posted a picture of himself with his dog, Roscoe, on Instagram. Funnily enough, the Mercedes driver tagged fellow Brit George Russell in the picture instead of his dog.
Many had thought his account had got hacked, or it was accidental from Lewis’ side. But the Mercedes driver revealed the truth to media at the Dutch Grand Prix to clear the situation.

No, there’s no leak or anything like that!: Lewis Hamilton
Lewis had posted a picture of Roscoe lying on his couch but had tagged Russell on Roscoe’s face. Many people on social media thought this was a dig from Hamilton at Russell; some even thought that his dog looked like the Williams driver.

The timing of the post was interesting as George Russell might be Lewis’ teammate for next season. It is all but confirmed that Russell would replace Bottas at Mercedes for the 2022 season to partner the seven-time world champion.
