The McLaren duo had a great week in Australia, finishing in the top 10. But after the race, Lando Norris took a cheeky dig at his Aussie teammate Daniel Ricciardo, who finished the race behind the English youngster.

Looking at the relationship between Norris and Ricciardo, it doesn’t seem like what Netflix’s Drive To Survive showed was all true. The show showcased a lot of tension between the two McLaren drivers. But that’s not the case. They both are friendly and respect each other. Further, both the drivers like to tease and prank each other.

The Woking-based team was struggling since the first race. But they were looking strong in Australia and they finished in the Top 10. Lando Norris finished P5 while Daniel Ricciardo finished just behind Lando at P6. For most of the race, Ricciardo was tailing his young teammate. So, Lando used this opportunity to take a cheeky dig at the Honey Badger. Norris looked at Ricciardo’s MCL36 covered in dirt and said, “Is that from my brake dust?”

Ahead of the Australian GP, both the drivers recorded a video for McLaren’s social media. In the video, the Australian Honey Badger was teaching his Brit teammate some Aussie slang. The 32-year-old asked Norris what could ‘Bush’ mean in Australia.
