The tweet read, “Have heard from multiple sources that the next match plans to include Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth. It’s tentatively scheduled for 12/10 at Pelican Golf Club outside of Tampa, under the lights.” It was probably not enough to tease all the fans, so the official Twitter handle of NUCLR GOLF put a stamp on it by posting the same news and tagging fried egg in the tweet. According to the reports, the pro golfers are ready for the next big event. Woods is gearing up for ‘The Match’ at the Pelican Club in Tampa Bay. After the tweets went viral, the fans of golf were full of excitement and confusion at the same time. They crowded the comments section with remarks and questions. There were many questions about whether they would pay the pro golfers for the Match. However, some fans assumed that the money would go to Hurricane relief.

The most critical question that fans were seeking an answer to was whether these players would be eligible for the OWGR points after the Match. The G.O.A.T. of golf has a wholly packed schedule in December. A week before The Hero World Challenge, Woods will be at his tournament until December 4. It can mean two things. Either the former no.1 will play in a cart at ‘The Match’ or rest.
On top of that, Woods has a busy planned three weeks post ‘The Match,’ as he and his son Charlie will try to capture their first PNC Championship.
