Kyle Busch, Richard Childress Racing‘s ace driver, showcased his exceptional performance at Darlington and emerged as a prominent contender for the win. Although he didn’t lead the race, his remarkable skills and impressive performance had him positioned as a strong contender throughout the latter part of the race. However, William Byron continued his exceptional form and secured his third victory of the season.

During his conversation with Jared Allen on the podcast, Busch‘s former teammate Denny Hamlin said, “I think Kyle actually have a very very good car he didn’t get to show as much as, he didn’t lead but he was strong he was in the mix, the leaders were right there in front of him all day.

Hamlin also referenced the four drivers—Chastain, Larson, Truex, and Busch—who were leading the pack at the time, highlighting their significant positions.

Kyle Busch displayed his dominance in Stage Two, securing a strong third-place finish behind Larson and Chastain. However, during a pit stop, he blundered by sliding too far and had to back up, losing multiple positions and falling to 18th place.
