Devin Booker took to social media to address this issue and even mentioned George in his comments. George responded to Booker’s comments by calling it a “sorry a** response,” reigniting the previous rivalry between the two NBA players.

George’s question caused controversy and Booker responded on Instagram, labeling it as provocative and bringing up past issues. Booker posted a salute emoji for the vulnerability shown by Thompson. He then proceeded to go and tag Paul George and wrote, “Is that the answer u was lookin for?”

Paul George didn’t take Booker’s Instagram comment lightly. George addressed Booker’s comment in a later live stream and dismissed it as a “sorry a** response.” This response drew a lot of attention from the public and the media in addition to reigniting the tensions between the two players.
