Ever since the Brooklyn Nets brought together their iconic ‘Big Three’, with Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden, they have faced criticism for loading up their roster before the postseason. The pitch sharpened after they added Blake Griffin and now that they have also acquired LaMarcus Aldridge, KD has become a soft target.
A fan on Twitter commented, “I see you really can’t lead a team on your own.” These comments are coming after KD expressed his dislike for super teams a decade ago. He took shots at the Lakers and the Miami Heat. However, a lot changes in ten years, and now, Durant is the one with the super team that is drawing everyone’s attention.

The fascinating part is that the trio that the Nets have formed have hardly played together in games. Both Kyrie Irving and Durant had been sidelined, and Harden was carrying the Nets alone on his shoulders.
However, it is safe to say that he lived up to the expectations. Harden, who has peaked ever since he joined Brooklyn, has the franchise standing second in the Eastern Conference. With a 31-15 record, they are touted to be the biggest threats to the defending champions, and for good reason.
Just imagine that if Harden alone can wreak such havoc, what will Kyrie, KD, Griffin, and LaMarcus do when they step on the court together.
