The NBA trade deadline has lived up to the hype. After Kyrie Irving departed from Brooklyn, the Nets were in play again on deadline day as they traded away franchise cornerstone Kevin Durant to the Phoenix Suns. This is a landscape-changing move and makes the 5th-seeded Suns the favorites in the West. While the trade has sent shockwaves around the league, a 12-year-old tweet has resurfaced, which may indicate that Durant will have no problem settling in Phoenix.
Durant has been allegedly dating Cassandra Anderson for quite some time now. While there are little to no details about the couple’s personal lives, they have been going strong. However, this resurfaced tweet from 2011 may get KD in trouble.

While Durant instantly makes Phoenix the favorite to win it all, there are now other major players in the West. After making the Conference Finals last season, the Mavericks hope to go one step further with the addition of Irving.
