Even though there are plenty of games left in the season, Dallas Mavericks star Luka Doncic has already made it in elite company. Players like Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and James Harden are already on a list with their entire season averages, and Doncic has etched his name with half of the season still to go, making fans wonder if the season has already ended.
Luka Doncic has made it to the list of elites with his points-per-game average. Doncic is currently averaging 33.7 PPG this season while also leading his team in rebounds and assists, but fans pointed out that the season is far from over yet.

Fans on social media are wondering how Doncic has already been included in the list of the most points-per-game average in the last 40 seasons of the league. With more than half of the season still left to play, many seemed irked over this stat.
Luka Doncic is in the race for most points per game this season with Philadelphia 76ers star Joel Embiid right behind him. Embiid is right behind the Slovenian international, averaging 33.6 PPG so far this season.

Luka Doncic is on his way to greatness
Luka Doncic has already made his mark as the leader in points this season. For him to be included in this list even when there is more than half of the season still to go arguably goes to show Doncic’s record-breaking season.
However, no matter how good Doncic has been playing so far, the Mavericks are currently struggling to win games. Out of the last seven games, the Mavericks have only won two and lost five of them.
