The Philadelphia Eagles head coach, Nick Sirianni, hailed quarterback Jalen Hurts and dismissed the claims of him missing a game. After two consecutive defeats, the Eagles desperately want to revive themselves. In the game against the San Francisco 49ers, Hurts left and was assessed for a concussion. However, he returned to the gridiron, and Sirianni won’t bench Hurts in the upcoming matchup.

Nick Sirrianni, 35-16 record as Eagles HC (including playoffs), appeared on the Rich Eisen Show, sharing his views on benching Hurts due to an injury. The HC dismissed the claims and further emphasized the importance of Hurts’ presence in the team. Sirianni said, “He’s played some good football. You know he’s played some really good football. I would say that we’re definitely not sitting them, we’re definitely not doing that. Because Jalen is one of our best football players, and he gives us a great chance to win every time he steps out there.

During the match versus the San Francisco 49ers, in the latter part of the third quarter, Hurt found himself caught between linebackers Fred Warner and Oren Burks during a tackle, prompting a swift medical examination. Upon receiving clearance, he briskly made his way to the sideline, displaying determination as he attempted to lead a comeback.

After assuring the Eagles’ enthusiasts about Hurts’ presence, the HC and the Eagles’ team face a challenge to restrict their losing momentum and clinch a victory in their upcoming matchup against the Seattle Seahawks.

The Eagles lost against the 49ers with a scoreline of 19-42. After that, another defeat came against their divisional rivals, the Dallas Cowboys. Again, it was a hard pill to swallow, as the loss was with the score of 33-13. The Eagles are strong contenders for the Super Bowl, but their recent matchups give double thoughts to the NFL enthusiasts. But great teams know how to bounce back from a challenging phase.

In the same interview, HC Nick Sirianni conveyed his message to the NFL fraternity, “We also understand, like you know, when you’re on a two-game losing streak. Some of these criticisms are going to come, and you know it’s our job to just again like I said, get back up, learn from our mistakes, and get better from them.
