Aaron Rodgers has the honor of playing with many skilled players in the NFL. Even during his 18-season tenure with the Green Bay Packers, the 4X MVP QB has built comradeship with many talents in the Packers locker room. He even led the team to Super Bowl XLV glory with a roster that had players like RB Brandon Jackson, WR Greg Jennings, TE Donald Lee, and OL Chad Clifton, to name a few.

While Rodgers is now officially with the New York Jets, other players from the Packers nation have also joined him in New York. With the likes of Randall Cobb, Allen Lazard, and Malik Taylor teaming up with him in his new home, A-Rod already has a sense of familiarity for his debut season for Gang Green. The QB also recently revealed who the best WR in the NFL is, according to his observations. And it’s not somebody who’s not a part of the Jets roster.

The 39-year-old QB has played with many wide receivers in his 18-year stint with the Packers. Even Lazard, who joined the Packers in 2018 and has since been playing with A-Rod, now prepares to shine at his new team, but with his same old QB. But despite his years of experience with Rodgers, he is not the best WR in the league according to the 4X MVP.

In an article written by Yard Barker, they reported that during an interview with Adam Schein for SiriusXM, Aaron Rodgers revealed his best WR in the NFL. And it was none other than Davante Adams, who signed a five-year $140 million contract with the Las Vegas Raiders last year. Both A-Rod and Adams were teammates in Green Bay from 2014 till the time he left for the Raiders. While talking about Adams, the QB said, “There’s a couple of guys in that stratosphere but (Adams is) the best.” The WR has an impressive career record, catching 769 passes for 9,637 yards and 87 touchdowns in nine seasons in the NFL.

It was also recently reported that there was a possibility of a reunion between Rodgers and Davante Adams in New York for the 2023 season.

Earlier, Curtis Leung of Last Word on Sports was of the opinion that Davante Adams could be on the move to New York this offseason, even after signing a contract recently with the Raiders. Despite having Lazard, Cobb, and 2022 Offensive Rookie of the Year Garrett Wilson, Adams could bring in that extra firepower for the Jets along with his experience of playing with Rodgers.

It was also reported that while speaking with the Ringer, Adams said he does not “see eye to eye” with the Raiders’ vision in the offensive department for 2023. This led to rumors circulating that the WR does not have a great relationship with the front office. But Adams came forward to debunk those rumors recently, as he stated he is looking forward to playing with the new roster in the new season of the league.

While it does not seem like the duo will play with each other anytime soon, fans will be excited about these old friends playing against each other in the upcoming season of the league.
