According to Marca, Daniel Riolo, a renowned French journalist, blasted Mbappe over his lack of interest to extend his contract. Riolo, in his statement, made it clear that Mbappe is not irreplaceable. He said, “I love Kylian Mbappe, but if he leaves, there are other players, there are many teams winning the Champions League without Kylian Mbappe. Many teams are doing well without him. Many players can replace him”.

Riolo perceived this as a mere obsession that can cause PSG to lose the young Frenchman for free. The journalist also talks about how the young talent has gained too much power from his current contract. Along with that, he also compared Mbappe to NBA superstar LeBron James.

PSG could face some big departures

Speculation is rife that Lionel Messi and Neymar may soon leave Paris Saint-Germain (PSG). With the Argentine’s contract set to expire this season and no renewal in sight, there stands a possibility of Messi leaving for his former club FC Barcelona or for a record-breaking deal with Saudi Arabia’s Al-Hilal.

Similarly, Neymar has been open to the idea of an exit from PSG, with Manchester United touted as one possible destination. For now, however, all we have are rumors – and the actual outcome remains to be seen. If all three do end up leaving, it could mean a huge loss for the French side.
