Just hours ago, France played their UEFA Euro qualifier match against Gibraltar. On a daunting 14-0 scoresheet, amid a variety of scorers, Kylian Mbappe managed to find a hat trick. His taking the match ball home also did make sense, as he also achieved a huge milestone in his career.

The Frenchman has now reached the 300-career goal mark for both his club and country. Subsequently, after the match, when asked about clinching this milestone, the lethal striker delivered some courageous claims. While speaking to TF1, Mbappe said, “It’s just part of the process, there are some players who scored 800 or 850 goals in their career…300 is just hilarious! I have to keep going and improve for both club and national team.”

Indirectly, the super striker drew a comparison to the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. Be that as it may, this is quite a bold and optimistic approach, which suggests that he is keen to take his game to the highest level.
