Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem Sign up For Tennis Tournament in June

It’s been nearly three months since the last tennis match was played on the professional circuit. Owing to the coronavirus pandemic that has hit the world like a giant asteroid. With no professional action tennis players, fans and their lives have become mundane. But now Adria Tour has announced good news as the ATP aces Novak Djokovic and Dominic Thiem will be seen in action.
Along with the two top three players, Grigor Dimitrov and Victor Troicki have confirmed their participation in the Adria Tour event. The tournament will take place from June 13 to July 4.
Novak Djokovic to play an extra match

The other ATP men are yet to sign up for this event, hopefully, the tournament has registration in large numbers. After that, Djokovic will play another match against Damir Dzumhur which will be an exhibition event in Sarajevo, Bosnia on July 5.

World Number one Djokovic is presently based in Marbella, Spain. He has been practicing tennis at Puente Romano Tennis Club in Marbella. The Serb was rallying past against his close friend and World Number 428 Carlos Gomez Herrera.
Currently 17-time Grand Slam champion Djokovic is on an 18-match-winning streak since the beginning of the year 2020. The streak incorporates his victories at ATP Cup, Australian Open and Dubai ATP 500.

Other matches on the tour
Earlier this month UTR Pro Match Series was hosted in Florida, USA players such as Hubert Hurkacz and Reilly Opelka participated. And now on the women’s tour, Amanda Anisimova, Alison Riske, Ajla Tomljanovic, and Danielle Collins have signed up for MyUTR exhibition in Florida.
The WTA women will be seen in action this weekend.

The tournament is not a part of the professional tour and no ball kids are employed. The players manage with the towels and the balls themselves. The event is held completely under closed doors.
