In just his 7th UFC fight, he became a double champion and even won the ‘Performance of the Night’ honor worth $50,000. With the win, Pereira has climbed up the P4P rankings to the 5th spot, above middleweight champion Sean Strickland, and his arch-rival Israel Adesanya. ‘Poatan’ jumped five places higher than he was before winning the vacant championship last weekend.

When it comes to Tom Aspinall, he registered yet another 1st-round knockout win, this time over Sergei Pavlovich. It was his 7th UFC victory and also his 7th finish in Dana White‘s promotion. The victory not only earned Aspinall the title but also a spot in the P4P rankings and he’s been placed at #14. Now, fans are wondering what’s next for both of these fighters. What’s next for both champions after UFC 295?

There is no doubt when it comes to Alex Pereira’s next fight. He will defend his light heavyweight title for the first time against former champion Jamahal Hill. Dana White mentioned that because of ‘Sweet Dreams’ vacating his title due to injury, he makes the best sense to be in line for the title shot.

Meanwhile, Tom Aspinall’s next opponent is yet to be announced.
