UFC megastar, Conor McGregor, took to Twitter and fired artillery shells towards his former opponent, Eddie Alvarez, for his recent comments. ‘The Underground King’ spoke to James Lynch and said that McGregor needed to ‘harden’ himself in order to reach greatness again. Alvarez believes that McGregor’s bank account status is the major factor holding him back from regaining glory.

‘The Notorious’ clapped back at Eddie Alvarez and flexed the incredible wealth he’s accrued over the years. McGregor’s responses were prompted by a tweet that came via a fan account going by ‘UFC Reporter’. The Irishman has never been one to shy away from letting the fans and media know of his plentiful bank account.

Eddie Alvarez wasn’t the first to postulate that McGregor’s wealth is the primary reason he’s suffered a few career setbacks. At the end of the day, Poirier’s game plan reigned supreme and Conor McGregor seemed excited to go back to the drawing board.
The trilogy fight is expected to go down in the summer and will undoubtedly be one of the biggest match-ups, period. Conor has shown through the second Nate Diaz fight that he has what it takes to make the necessary changes. Dustin Poirier certainly exposed a hole in his game, and McGregor will look to seal the gap.
