He stated that even if the UFC were to announce his fight and opponent out of the blue, McGregor would still be up for the challenge.

McGregor shared the following insights into his approach by stating, “I promise the ufc would never even have announce to me who I am fighting, they could do a surprise announcement out of nowhere, a date, an opponent, completely out of the blue, absolutely anyone, at any time, and I’d be in the gym prepping tactics for it. This is legally binding.”

The comments underscore McGregor’s dedication to making his return to the Octagon. Fans will be pleased to know that the ‘Notorious’ is still laser-focused on making a comeback and regaining his former glory inside the cage.

Irish MMA superstar Conor McGregor might make his return to the Octagon in the first half of 2024, according to Dana White!

Speaking in New York City ahead of UFC 295, White revealed that McGregor, who spoke with him recently, is ready and eager to fight. Due to the mandatory six-month period in the drug-testing pool, White suggested a potential comeback in the summer. He stated, “He wants to (fight). He’s got to sit out for the six months to get back into the drug-testing pool. So realistically… could be looking at him next summer.”

McGregor himself hinted at his readiness during the Francis Ngannou vs. Tyson Fury event in Saudi Arabia. He also teased a boxing match with Manny Pacquiao and suggested his aim for a UFC return in April. McGregor stated, “I’m in a good spot, I’ve been training – I’ve been leaving also. But I’ve been training and April seems like a good time to come back.”
