Joe Rogan Warns Dana White and UFC’s Hunter Campbell to Not Repeat Grave Paddy Pimblett Mistake

Joe Rogan is particular about fair rules and regulations in combat sports. The MMA enthusiast is primarily a UFC color commentator but also shares his love for the game on other platforms as well. Such as his ever-growing popular podcast show, ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’. In a recent episode, Rogan discussed the aftermath of a controversial UFC 282 fight that many fans felt was misjudged.

And the majority of the blame fell on the referees for spoiling a contender’s night. However, Rogan caught UFC Boss Dana White in a compromising position after the judgment. Because of his close bond with the contestant, Paddy Pimblett.

In a now-deleted episode #134 of The JRE MMA show with welterweight superstar, Belal Muhammad. The popular podcaster discussed the proper way to officiate a match. The podcast host felt that match officials make mistakes, because of many factors. However, some mistakes could make or break a livelihood and that is not acceptable in Rogan’s book.

The former Fear Factor host asked, “Did you see the video of Dana and … I think it was Hunter Campbell…” “…Celebrating when Paddy got the win?”

“They’re like, ‘F*ck yeah!’ and I’m like ‘Oh No…No!’” “You can’t do that.” hearkened back to UFC 282, when many UFC fans and professionals hated the judge’s decisions. Belal Muhammad also clearly favored his friend, Jared Gordon, to come out on top against Paddy Pimblett.

Listening to which the UFC color commentator said, “His like… life story is so crazy, so it was like…” “That was his moment to shine…” “That could’ve changed everything.”

Joe Rogan is not afraid of pointing mistakes out. Especially after his infamous confrontation, with referee Yamasaki for a blunder, in front of the entire audience. However, couldn’t support or defend his employer, Dana White, after he clearly had a favorite in the boy from Liverpool. And his reaction would convince many fans that he had a bet on Pimblett to win.

Muhammad also felt upset that his hardworking friend couldn’t enjoy the fruits of all the seeds he sowed in practice, just because of a few judges. However, White once offered a solution to judgment errors, which is sure to upset some fighters in UFC. But, MMA fans still wonder if it’s fair for fighters to become friends with promoters. And how would that impact the sport?
